MEDIUM RARE NEW YORK STRIP STEAK with MARSHED POTATOES

It is date night and the first thing that comes to mind is going to a fancy steak house for an expensive meal. Sometimes it is more fun, spending time at home enjoying the same fanciness at a much more conducive atmosphere and less the price. The fear for some people is that it is quite a task to get done, but on the contrary. It is simple to make, and it comes out very well too.

2 tablespoons Olive oil 

1lb New York Strip Steak

¼ teaspoon spiiCery Organic Scotch Bonnet

½ tablespoon spiiCery Organic Suya Powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ tablespoon onions

½ teaspoon Garlic

4 Potatoes

½ cup milk

½ stick salted butter

Fresh Thyme

Asparagus (Garnish Optional)

Cherry tomatoes (Garnish Optional)

DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven at 350 

Get Strips then add salt, spiiCery Organic Suya powder, spiiCery scotch Bonnet and place in the oven for 45mins

Pre-heat skillet add oil and right from the oven place the steaks on it. Add butter, fresh thyme, garlic, onions, and on medium high heat leave on both sides for 3mins.

Once cooked to perfection, allow to rest for 10mins, then serve either sliced or whole

Boil potato, salt, and once cooked put in a bowl and mash. Add butter and milk continue to mash until desired result.
