GROUND BEEF SPLURGE with spiiCery Organic Stew Powder and Scotch Bonnet

What other way can one spend a holiday weekend other than with family, friends and wait; did I hear good food? Absolutely good food! Now in other to make this holiday week one of a kind, I will be making a “ground beef splurge”. It is ground beef, with veggies, over homemade fries and some delicious cheese. On the side will be a sweet and tangy mango salsa with some bell pepper crunchiness.

 RECIPES

1lb ground beef 
1 cup beef or chicken stock
¼ cup spiiCery Organic Stew Powder
¼ teaspoon spiiCery Organic Scotch Bonnet
½ cup chopped red bell pepper
½ cup chopped green bell pepper
½ cup carrot
½ cup chopped red onion
¼ cup fresh thyme
¼ teaspoon salt
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Canola oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 large Potatoes

Salsa Recipe
½ cup chopped red bell pepper
½ cup chopped green bell pepper
½ cup chopped yellow bell pepper
½ cup chopped red onion
2 cups mango
½ cup Parsley
1 lime
  DIRECTIONS

Deep fry the finely chopped potatoes for that homemade fries taste. Put fries on paper towel this will soak-up any excess oil from the fries.  Pre-heat wok, add olive oil, add onions and spiiCery stew powder, this serves two great purposes as a thickener and for great taste and texture and allow to sizzle for 1min.
Now add ground beef chopped veggies, carrot, thyme, sprinkle some salt and spiiCery Organic Scotch Bonnet and stir on high heat for 2-3mins. Add the stock and allow to cook for 3-4 mins on medium-high heat. 
Once cooked, plate fries and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, top it with the ground beef sauce and dust some parmesan on it.Mango Salsa
For the mango salsa, chop mango finely, add chopped bell peppers and red onions mix properly. Next add parsley and lime, mix again and it is ready! 

SCOTCH EGG AND COLESLAW with spiiCery Organic Stew Powder

We’ve all been there; when it is too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, and you are really craving eggs as well as a beef sandwich. So, what is better than combining them for an ultimate brunch. What other way can one enjoy munching eggs and meat other than marrying them together. Which is why I love the good old-fashioned scotch egg. The trick to getting it to cook to perfection is in the coating (usually beef). If not properly done it can become very dry, which is why adding some moisture activating base (spiiCery Organic Stew Powder) is a great technique I incorporate into the mixture to get that great juiciness.

Scotch Egg
Canola oil for Frying

1/2 lb. ground beef

½ cup spiiCery Organic Stew Powder

¼ teaspoon spiiCery Organic Scotch Bonnet

½ tablespoon salt

1 cup breadcrumbs

5 eggs

1 egg yolk

¼ cup Vinegar 

¼ cup Parsley

¼ cup Chives

Coleslaw

2 cups shredded cabbage

1 cup shredded carrot

¼ sugar

1 cup mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS
In a pot with boiling water, add ¼ teaspoon salt, and vinegar. Poke tiny hole on tip of uncooked eggs and boil for 5mins.

In a bowl combine ground beef, parsley, chives, spiiCery organic Stew Powder, spiiCery Organic Scotch Bonnet, and salt. Mix in all the ingredients and add egg yolk.

Remove eggshell and coat with the ground beef mixture and in pre heated frying pan with oil add the coated egg; continue frying until it is brown. Remove and place on paper towel and strain oil.

On the side, combine cabbage, carrot, sugar and mayo; gently mix in for 1-2mins.

Plate the creamy coleslaw and top it with the scotch egg and it is ready!

HOT and SPICY WINGS

RECIPES
1lb chicken wings
½ cup beef or chicken stock
½ cup spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub
1 cup spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder
1 teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
½ cup chopped spring onions
¼ cup canola oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons Honey
½ cup Mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon salt
1 lemon

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven at 375o for 15mins.
In a bowl combine, ½ a cup spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder, ½ a cup spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub, ½ a teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet (optional), chopped spring onions, ¼ cup canola oil and mix. Add the chicken wings and rub in the mixture.
Place wings on an oven rack and roast for 50mins- 1hr. While wings are roasting, on medium-high heat place pot and add beef or chicken stock.
Once it starts to boil reduce heat to medium low and add a ¼ cup spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder and gently stir. Now, pour the soy sauce, spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet and honey. Allow simmer for 3mins and this home-made delicious glaze/ barbecue sauce reduction is ready.
Once the chicken is properly roasted, brush on the barbecue sauce on the meat and put back into the oven for 5mins and serve with dip
Our dip is very quick and easy to make, just combine mayo, lemon juice, honey, spring onions and spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet and whisk until smooth.

KALE WAFFLE with BACON

Every parent, guardian or adults has one problem, getting kids to eat their vegetables or at least healthy. It is like, the veggie is a monster on their plate that will ruin it all. It does not matter how many sing-alongs or cartoons about eating healthy one thinks would work, it is all but futile. Which is why disguising is the best way to go. spiiCery Organic Kale Powder is a life saver because it can be infused in almost everything, from waffle batter, to smoothies, shakes and dips for children

1 ½ Cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon spiiCery Organic Kale Powder

¼ tablespoon baking powder

½ cup sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

1 egg

½ cup canola oil

2/3 cup water

1 tablespoon butter (Optional)

Cream Cheese (Optional)

Bacon (Garnish)

DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat waffle make 

In a bowl mix dry ingredient, flour, sugar, baking powder, kale powder, salt.

Get a separate bowl and combine wet ingredient, water, oil, and egg
Pour combined wet ingredient into the dry mix and whisk properly. Then scoop batter onto waffle maker. 

After 3-5mins it is time for everyone to enjoy!
One can plate waffle with other sides like, bacon, eggs, avocado, cream cheese, butter, or maple syrup.

STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST with STIR FRIED VEGGIES

RECIPES
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 tablespoon ground beef
1 Chicken Breast
½ tablespoon spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder
¼ teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
½ tablespoon spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub
½ teaspoon salt
½ tablespoon chives
½ cup red bell peppers
½ cup green bell peppers
½ cup yellow bell peppers
½ cup red onions
1 cup shredded lettuce

DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven at 350
Pre-heat skillet add oil and chopped bell peppers and red onions.
Sprinkle some salt and continuously stir for 5mins.
Plate on a shredded lettuce.
Slice chicken breast in half, place shredded beef in between, add chive then sprinkle some spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder, Scotch bonnet, salt and Barbecue rub.
Use a toothpick to fasten the breast, then rob spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub on both sides and place on a pre-heated skillet. Leave for 2-3mins on both sides and Place in the oven for 10mins.
Once cooked slice and place on the plated veggies.

MEDIUM RARE NEW YORK STRIP STEAK with MARSHED POTATOES

 RECIPES
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1lb New York Strip Steak
¼ teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
½ tablespoon spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub
½ teaspoon salt
½ tablespoon onions
½ teaspoon Garlic
4 Potatoes
½ cup milk
½ stick salted butter
Fresh Thyme
Asparagus (Garnish Optional)
Cherry tomatoes (Garnish Optional)

 

DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven at 350
Get Strips then add salt, spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub, spiiCery scotch Bonnet and place in the oven for 45mins
Pre-heat skillet add oil and right from the oven place the steaks on it. Add butter, fresh thyme, garlic, onions, and on medium high heat leave on both sides for 3mins.
Once cooked to perfection, allow to rest for 10mins, then serve either sliced or whole
Boil potato, salt, and once cooked put in a bowl and mash. Add butter and milk continue to mash until desired result.

EGG DROP SOUP Hot and Spicy

RECIPES
1 Cup Beef or Chicken Broth
1 egg
A pinch spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
Salt
½ tablespoon corn starch
1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Pour broth into a pot and bring it to a boil.
Mix corn starch with water and add to the boiling broth.
Add a pinch of spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet and stir, then add the salt and stir.
Crack the egg and whisk, and gently pour into the boiling broth while stirring. Once done, allow to boil for 1min.
Pour into a soup bowl and add the chopped chives for aroma and flavor.

PIZZA ROLL with spiiCery Organic Stew Powder

We all sometime want to eat the usual but only prepared differently or with a twist. Which is why this version of our pizza roll will have an exciting and very delicious spin on it. From its toppings to its sauces. 

                                                      RECIPES

Pizza dough
1 tablespoon spiiCery Organic Stew Powder
½ Cup Ground beef
½ Cup Ground Pork
¼ Cup Chopped Onions
1 Cup ground tomatoes
½ cup Olive Oil
¼ teaspoon salt
1 egg
Mozzarella Cheese (many other cheese optional)
                                                     DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat Oven 450 
In a pan add some olive oil, onions stir fry the ground beef and pork add salt and spiiCery Organic Stew Powder for more sauciness and texture. Allow to cook for 5mins on medium heat and let cool.
Get a separate pot and pour in the freshly ground tomatoes and bring it to a boil. Add a dash of olive oil, salt and some spiicery Organic Stew Powder and cook for 5mins. 
Knead the dough into whichever shape you want. Layer the cooked ground meats, tomato sauce, cheese and roll. Crack egg, whisk and brush the rolled dough with egg.
Put it the preheated oven and leave for 20mins. 

PAN SEARED SEASONED SALMON

RECIPES
½ lb. Salmon Fillet
½ tablespoon spiiCery Tomato Stew Powder
¼ teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
¼ tablespoon spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub
Salt
¼ teaspoon olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat skillet
Add Olive oil and raise the heat to medium-high, skin-side up. Cook until golden brown on 1 side for 4 mins. Turn the Salmon over and cook for about 3mins.
Transfer to a plate and served as desired.

spiiCery CHICKEN WRAP

RECIPES
2 garden spinach wraps
1 tablespoon spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub
¼ teaspoon spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet
½ cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
Salt
1 cup cabbage
1 tablespoon mayo
½ teaspoon sugar
Ketchup
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven 350
In a bowl with chicken thigh fillet, rub spiiCery Barbecue Suya Rub on it. Add some salt and into the oven or grill it goes.
Get a separate bowl and combine chopped cabbage, mayo and sugar mix in properly.
Once the chicken is cooked for about 20mins, allow to rest for 2-3mins.
Time to layer the wraps with coleslaw (cabbage mixture), bell peppers, sliced grilled chicken, ketchup and dust some spiiCery Hot Scotch Bonnet for some heat.
Gently roll the wrap and then place on a preheated skillet or grill for some char and or grill marks. And voila, your five-star chicken wrap is ready!
